Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Strada Studio website. They also contain the website-operator information required by South Africa's Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA). By using this site you agree to these terms.

This information is provided in accordance with section 43 of ECTA:

2. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

3. About this website

This website presents information about Strada Studio and the design, development, and related services we offer. It is an informational and marketing site. No part of the site constitutes a binding offer to provide services on particular terms; any work we do for you will be governed by a separate written agreement or quotation.

4. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

  • use the site for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any connected system;
  • introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code, or interfere with the site’s normal operation;
  • copy, reproduce, scrape, or republish content from the site except as permitted below or with our written consent; or
  • submit content through our contact form that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes the rights of others.

5. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including the design, layout, text, graphics, logos, code, animations, and 3D experiences — is owned by Strada Studio or its licensors and is protected by South African and international intellectual-property laws. You may view and use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from it without our prior written consent.

Project examples and portfolio pieces shown on the site are illustrative of our work and capabilities. Any third-party names, brands, or trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

6. Enquiries and submissions

When you contact us through the site, you agree to provide accurate information. We handle the personal information you submit in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract between us; a project only proceeds once it is agreed in writing.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of the site, or these terms, at any time without notice. We are not responsible for the site being unavailable for any period.

The site may contain links to third-party websites. We provide these for convenience only and do not control or endorse them. We are not responsible for the content, products, or privacy practices of any third-party site, and you access them at your own risk.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated in these terms, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

10. Your rights under ECTA and the CPA

This site does not currently sell goods or services online. If we offer electronic transactions in future, you may have additional rights under ECTA — including, in certain cases, a seven-day cooling-off period for online purchases — and under the Consumer Protection Act. Those rights will be set out at the point of sale and are not limited by these terms.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Strada Studio harmless against any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the site.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts in respect of any dispute arising from them.

13. General

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding your use of the site.
